The reliability and validity of both the LAS and LAS:S have been demonstrated through various studies. Detailed data are provided in the LAS Technical Manual, including

  • Five case studies also demonstrate how the LAS assessment can be applied in clinical settings.

The LAS normative sample consisted of 1,229 high school and college undergraduate students from the Midwestern United States. The LAS:S normative sample consisted of 2,071 students of the same age group.
